We have a weekend away, usually in March, which offers 2 days of walking in a completely different area. The walks are led by our own club leaders and offer a choice of an A/B/C walk on each day. We use hotels which are popular for walking and activity holidays in or around our National Parks. The hotels include meals and accommodation. Single rooms are limited and subject to availability.
Locations we have previously used are Borrowdale, Grasmere, Derwent Bank, Malhamdale, Coniston and Keswick.
Travel is on a Friday, returning on Monday, (3 nights). Transport is by car to the venue. We ask you to advise if you need a lift or if you are able to offer a lift.
We have to book 12/18 months in advance and bookings are advertised to everyone once details are confirmed, either in the programme, by e mail or on the member’s page of the website.
